Last Monday ChuvaChienes did a “repeat performance“? on her Tuna Pasta, this time she really made sure that she did put some Spiced Tuna (in oil), Anchovies, Capers, Parmesan, Olive Oil, Herbs, Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed) as per our non-blogger friend advice - America’s Top Ten Monay. [Gherl, can you find any capers?... Pag nakita mo may price ka! As in PRICE!!!] Here’s the Spiced Tuna Pasta makeover, hmmm sigi na nga - It was definitely a HIT! *Habang nakatutok ang armalite ni Chuvachienes sa aking leeg.*

Asan nga yung capers? Puro ulo ng dilis yung nakikita ko noh. Tinago nyo ba under the pasta? Divanetch, may anchovies pa, for added complexity in flavor eclavoo. Puedo more ring gamitin yung anchovy paste (in a tube sa Italian section of your grocery, Amore yata yung brand nya) in place of anchovy fillets (yung naka-jar or can na nasa Italian section ng grocery) especially kung may guest kang averse to the sight of anchovies (Hello, Bud at yung iba pa nating Merkanong friends na hindi sanay makakita ng seafood na may ulo. Buti pa mga Europeans, walang mga arte.). Altho kabog na rin yang dilis para make it your own talaga.
Mas magandang i-rough chop or i-chiffonade yung basil para naka-halo sha and you can taste it in almost every bite but oks na rin yan for presentation purposes. But where are the briny, tart capers (tenchu, Giada for the description)? Baka naman isang piraso lang yung capers na yan ha kaya hindi mo mahagilap. Anyways, optional naman yon.
Did it taste better with your add-ins? Asan ang matching whine, preferably a crisp white one? Na-try mo na ba yung Gavi, hindi Gavi Concepcion ha? White wine na super sarap sha as in nalasing kami during dinner dahil naka 2 bottles kami eh tatlo lang kaming umiinom at designated driver yung isang kasama namin.

Naman ang capers as in caper ultimo kami hindi namin mahanap …hehehe… Ang fresh basil eh courtesy ng aming kapitbahay ninakaw kong literal yan as in super freshness… Sa susunod na pasta makeover dadamihan namin ang basil no nakaw nga lang kasi eh lol…
Ansarap gherl as in mas malasa ngayon… *nakatoktok pa din ang armalite ni Chuva sa leeg ko*

Diva, iba talaga pag may spiced tuna, Parmesan cheese, fresh lemon juice at fresh basil na dagdag, especially kung nenok lang yung basil. At yung anchovies nga will make the flavor more complex. Wala na ba yung armalite?
Hindi ka kaya magka-appendicitis nyan, super lafang then aerobics? Dapat yata nag-rest ka muna ng at least one hour after eating before strenous exercise. Ob kors, kung ako yan, ecklepers na ang lola mo at pag gising ko, sarado na ang gym.
O diva, ginawa na naman nating chat room ito? Waiting na naman kasi ako sa aking run sa office.

Masarap talaga, eh yang amo ko lang kasi ang ayaw makinig sa akin non eh sabi ko noon gagawa ako ng bastang may dangit at or tuyo o diba hindi totoo ang sabi ni Anna Dionisio na nakakaitim ang tuyo at daing dahil sabi daw ng yaya nya papanget sya bweheheh ANNA no need! pretenshosa ever ever ever ever!!! Kami nga super yaman pero nakain ng Daing at Tuyo at minsan Nampla pa hehehe…
Nag wait ako naman ako ng at least an hour and 30 mins bago magtatalon at magsisipa hehehe… Maganda kasi ang klase pag Lunes, talaga namang kahit buong ref mo ang kinain mo eh talaga naman super burn sya sa klase hehehe…

I love pasta… I usually cook pasta… na ang sauce “ragu bolognese” and tuna with pomodoro ( translate mo nalang sa kanila eh) hahahaha… Grazie molto!

Adding the anchovies (dried dilis) was YoungCan’s idea and it definitely made a difference in this scrumptious meal!
