Late Night Snacking: To beat it or not to beat it?
Kind of hard to answer huh?
Last Saturday me and ChuvaChienes found ourselves in the middle of nowhere in Chinatown looking for some open Chinese joint (where we could pig out? hahaha - now that is so NOTorious MSG right there!) that are still open at that time (2AM!) Hehehe…
Restaurants in Chinatown are open until 4AM (I guess) most specially during weekends!
For most people this time of the night are already sleeping already or maybe just relaxing/chilling out in their their homes, just doing their thing. But with us - we are in Chinatown, doing our thing, trying to PIG OUT! And yes we not care weather to beat late night snacking or not to beat it… WE JUST EAT - WE ARE HUNGRY! [Red my lepssss!!!]
We are arguing weather we are eating at David’s Mai Lai Wa or the same old Jade Harbour [Both in 10th and Race streets.] You see, whenever we go out we always head to Jade Harbour (Am just tired of it! Food is good there - But, I just want something new!) But then according to ChuvaChienes apparently may ifis daw sa Mai Lai Wa! (aba malay ko!) Eh diba yon nga nagpapasarap? Ekkkkk - Bwahahaha… Seriously!
The infamous Jade Harbour, home of the Notorious MSG aka Butsi Gang! [May ganyan bang tambayan ang Gucci Gang? Wala! Kasi hindi nagkakain ang mga yon!]
More often than not I am kind scared to eat Chinese food at Chinese restaurants! *Alangan naman sa Filipino restaurant? Tange! Idiota!* Haller! Paano kung may Melamine yong mga ihihahanda doon? Hehehehe… But then, if I am there already and I see the food - I NOT CARE ANYMORE!
For my apps I had this crispy pork intestines accompanied with ice cold tsing tao *yum!* Only in Chinatown! [I finish th whole plate!] *Singing: All by myself~~~* As in nag ala Celine Dion ako!
Again, this is midnight snack - wala pong bininyagan! Another starter is this fish maw soup with vinegar and hot oil!
I can’t cover up my feelings. In the name of love. Or play it safe. For a while that was easy. And if living for myself. Is what I’m guilty of. Go on and sentence me. I’ll still be free….
It’s my turn Oh by the way that is Chuva nag ala Dianna Ross naingit - kaya ayan binanatan itong salt baked squid magisa nya.
Do we still have room for this? Hehehe. Of course naman no! Beef pan fried noodles anyone? Hope y’all got enticed by all these foods! Again walang ulolan midnight snack lang iyan! Now can you imagine how we eat lunch and dinner?

mas masarap ata young pork intestine hehehe…
