Labor Day Weekend: Farewell Summer - A fist with Young! Part 2
Continuation…
Let the fisting begin!!!
I started making the Papaya salad first, I know that it’ll definitely eat my time away… Good thing is I bought a fruit peeler or else I would ending up feeding it to them by dinner. (Even I have the fruit peeler, it took me an hour and half geez!) Both of my hand were sore after that, like right now I could feel a soreness on both of my arms, I don’t know if it’s from the strenuous workout I had last Thursday or from peeling that Papaya… I swear I would not make Papaya salad for more than 3 people lol.
After that (SIGHS: Good, there are no visitors yet!) So I did get ready the grill for my Liempo and NY strip steak (For our non-ethnic friends) LOLS! Who doesn’t eat crappy Liempo which is very fatty and we love it hehehe…
I am not done with my grilling yet!!! Ekkkkkkkk not yet! I still have to grill my (herb chicken limone) which is still a little bit frozen uhg… Promise I thawed it the day before just after work.
Thanks to Monay for butterflying these babies up!!! Kasi naman no, dumating na ang mga tao hindi pa ako tapos - this is a one woman show kasi eh lols… (Thanks for my cooking ng ina mo din elves: Monay, Speak and Baby Gherl!) OMG there is just so much food! For this peeps did also bring their cooking ng ina mo din for this end of summer late lunch early dinner lol… I was just planning to make the Payaya salad (Som Tum) and the herb chicken limone and I am expecting 10 people, yes 10 mouths to feed including me, hindi naman kaya kami magpatayan non? And I don’t want to be short on food no and NO NO NO NO - I don’t these people ending up at some diner after coming to my party! That’s why I decided to cook at least 5 pounds of Liempo marinated in my special sauce! But I didn’t really expect this cooking ng ina mo din elves to bring that so much of their cooking ng ina mo din, for they are drunk the night before…
Okay BRB na ako dito! For it is English time hehehe.. Look at him, simot sarap as in buto lickin’ good!
Since this is a butsi gang affair, ang pasosyalan at ka pretenshosahan hindi mawawala kaya ayan ang, Korbel for that great tasting Mimosa (Sparkling champagne with Orange juice - no pulp!) *On the image, it is one of my drunken elves hehehe*
One of my cooking ng ina mo din elves making an arrangement for the photo, for this entry of course! Could you believe it? A non-blogger friend or friends of mine are more worried sometimes for my blog hahaha… *Did you take a picture already?* Gherl I am so tired! I can’t do anymore kaartihan food arrangements heheeh, and so the elves did the food arrangements for this entry! O diva?
Ang taray Speak! Hehehe… This is the Som Tum, yes since I am working-out and on a very controlled portion diet ayan in-arrange ako ni Speak ng aking kakainin - Hahaha, since ako daw ay diet, tama na daw sa akin ito! Grrrrrrr…
Herb Chicken Limone with the NY strip steak - Ay nako, itong mga cooking ng ina mo din duwindi’s ko nagaaway pa for the contrast lol…
This is Schezuan noodles made by Monay! Inspired by Ina Garten as in si Barefoot Contessa.
Eto naman ang kay Speak, sorry I forgot the name. Hehehe, pero it is good as in Oh My Gravy sya ang una kong kinain since I love eggs (No powder or lotion just salt no UHG!) at ground beef…
It was such a wonderful Sunday - a time spent with friends for bidding summer goodbye…

Gherl, that was torta made by Speak with matching cornbread muffins (that were so moist like eeewww, so double entrendre ha) and biscuits. Haylabit too at nakalimutan ko na nga ang tinuro sa ken ng French Women Don’t Get Fat. As in nakalimutan na ang portion control because I love eggs as well. I also love your liempo. Kaya naman, pag-uwi namen, tulogtsina kaagad.
I also like the Szechuan noodles (pagbubuhat ng sariling bangko) so much that I made a batch at home for our lunch (baon) this week (You know we need to economize so we can buy more clothes and shoes. Hahaha …) I think it gets better after a day or so.

Kaya gurl, for food styling, you should always ask the elves because we are professionals.
Sa susunod, invest on a food processor with shredding disk para hindi ka ma-chorva sa green papaya. It will make your life easier, not just for shredding things. In fairview masarap talaga yung papaya salad mo, very refreshing with the grilled meat. Pero gherl, meet salt. Salt, meet Young. O ayan na-introduce na kayo so please use a little bit more of salt.
Tenchu for the wonderful lunch as in pinilit ka pa namin to invite us no. lagi ko naman inbite mga yan no lol… Charing!

Ekkkk i did not eat the liempo (Fatty-Fatty bumbum) as in hindi hehehe… Hahahaaaa… Pramis wala akong gana noon as in… Nakakin ako ng maayos like around 6 or 7 na noong wala nang tao lahat (Of course, pretentious ako, kunwari diet pero wag ka vina-cumm ko ang noddles mong tira hehehe)
I love speak’s cornbread ha!
.
(You know we need to economize so we can buy more clothes and shoes. Hahaha …) I think it gets better after a day or so. KORAK!
