Labor Day Weekend: Farewell Summer - A fist with Young! Part 1

I love fisting eekkkk I mean feasting pala! [Hehehehehhh] Today I got up really-really-really early for my marketing (As in pamamalengke!) - I feel so energize! Even I only slept few hours, that is from last night’s party? uhg, *It’s always a surprise for me, when “they” have a party in our house and I am not invited UGH! In our house, where I use to live/eat/sleep/snore/blog and hada*

I went to Chinatown for that ever-ever fresh green Papaya for my Som Tum! Unfortunately the Asian store nearby out house doesn’t have it - What a shame!

Destination Chinatown!

You see that tall building Oooooveeeerr there? That is Comcast building… *A view from Chinatown/Downtown 9th and Race Sts.*

Geez, I miss Chinatown ever! I used to work around this area a few years ago… I miss it! I miss the loud sirens, I miss all the rowdiness of people lol and most specially I miss that smell of Chinese food - taktaktak ajinomoto!

I miss this store! It’s where I get that daily dose of Taho (Steamed Soy Bean with Ginger) I would prefer the caramelized brown sugar though, but what can I do? Bring my own syrup? Hahaha… The best Taho in Chinatown, I say! Cause they’re the only one who (Old Singaporean couple) sells it lols, nah for real the best taho ever!

Ekkkkkkk, this is not a travel (PasyalPasyal blog!!!) I am here in Chinatown for only one thing and that is to get that fresh green Papaya!!!

I went to a produce store and they do not have/know what a Papaya is UGH! Haller! *Kind of getting frustrated!* Again Young will not give up that easily, I walk and I walk and I walk and saw another produce store… *Young looks around, found a Papaya, but it’s almost orange/yellow* I asked the lady for a much better one, I know they are hiding it somewhere out there hehehe…

See where I parked my BM? (Buhok Mo?) Ngek as in BMX no! Hehehe…

See that baby? I got 2 of those fresh green Papaya’s and some string beans for Som Tum it cost me less than $5.00 cheap cheap cheap! You see I used to eat this Papaya salad at some Thai restaurant before and it cost me around $7.00 something for an order and that serving is just only good for me or another person… You see the difference in the price??? It is always cheaper if you cook your food and that’s what am doing… (Mura na at alam kong hindi pa binalahura pagkain ko at walang taktaktak ajinomoto ang pagkain ko hehehe…)

To be continued…
