Food Fight: La Tomatina
Is a food fight festival held on every last Wednesday of August each year in the town of Bunol in the Valencia region of Spain. Tens of thousands of participants come from all over the world to fight in a brutal battle where more than one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets.

I got an email last night from Anna asking how to get rid of a chewing gum out of her daughters hair.
Sorry Anna for the late reply! You know girl we have different time zone, I was already asleep when you emailed me… I hope this reply is not too late - I hope you didn’t cut your daughters hair!!! (I know - everybody’s last resort would be cutting it off BUT EKKKKKKKK wait!) There is a solution in every problem! And that solution is right around the corner, you just have to open your eyes!
Every household has cooking oil, doesn’t have to be corn/extra virgin olive oil/peanut/vegetable oil - (OO, Minola o kaya Baguio oil na lang no!) apply it where the lock is and rub it off, until the lock loosens up. Been there done that!

Chinese take out: UHG!
I have not been really feeling good lately… For the past few days or rather weeks uhg, I have these on and off headaches and last nights was it’s worst!!! (Ngayon lang ako bumangon, para kumain? At saka I’ve been in bed for almost 16 hours na no lols, nahihilo ako pagnatayo ako at I’d rather sleep it off ng mawala sakit ng ulo ko, kasi pag gising ako mas masakit? *Checks my back, if there’s any bedsores.*)
Am at home right now, taking a rest so tomorrow I can go to work at my best - Chareng! lols… Nakakahiya kasi I don’t have anymore sick days, but the thing is, alam mo ba kung ilaw araw ka magkakasakit? Uhg… Doon ako naiirita, bakit kelangan bilang ang sick days??? Can somebody tell me? LOL!!!
Aroy Mak! Thai Steamed Mussels
You could not imagine, after working 7 days straight, last night I still managed to cook this scrumptious dish. (I did the prep… As soon I set my foot at our house.)
I love sipping the broth of these mussels! I could taste that fresh and sweet herbs yum, I swear nawawala ang pagod ko at stress ko. (for some, who doesn’t even cut me a slack! ugh!) Haller! I guess hindi talaga sya uukol, kasi ni hindi mo ako maintindihan, and “we was” not even together, diba dapat best toe forward kapag nanliligaw? Asa pa ako uhg, Hahaha, don’t worry, sports naman po ako. Hindi naman ako galit no, pramis! Sumpa man. Ako galit? Hinde ah! (Gloria Arroyo mode) buti wala akong hawak na laptop lols…

Saturday: This is my 6th day of working my @$$ to the fullest… Yes, I work 6 days a week and was on call for tomorrow (it was confirmed an hour ago that’ll I’ll still be working tomorrow - uhg!!!)
Though I have plans for tomorrow, work comes first as always lol (Hello, surebowl na pera na yon no! Hahahaha) My plan was to throw ChuvaChienes a surprise brunch on our patio (O diva) Eh ganun talaga hindi naman nya ako babayaran no so papasok na lang ako lols… (Mamamasukan sa iba lols tutal hindi nya maibigay-bigay ang 10 years na review na hinihingi ko uhg!)
To make up for tomorrow? What I did is just cook us a dinner (Kahit na medyo pagoda tragedy ako!)… Pasta ala Young… Since it’s still summer, this pasta that I just cooked is perfect for summer… Take a look!

There are more than 100 college presidents, including from Saint Joseph’s, Widener and Arcadia, want to start discussion about lowering drinking age from 21. Freshman 14 set to increase to Freshman 25.

Okay, sabi kasi noon unang panahon “daw” may isang pamilyang Instik at laging pancit/noddles daw ang kinakain nila. Haggang sa nagsawa sila at laging sinasabi kapag pancit ulit ang nakahain sa mesa ay “Pancit na naman?” Sabay hawak sa ulo (just like the image above) - somewhat making face or frowning with hands on the side of their head/eyes - nila, hanggang sila ay nasingkit. [HAHAH, syet, ang korni... Parang si Demi!]

I was talking to my Taiwanese friend the other day, who told me story back in her hometown (Taiwan, Taipe) about a Toilet eatery…
Where actual dishes take the form of toilet bowls - EWWWW!!! (Would you eat out of a faux toilet bowl?) It’s somewhat revolting about combining human waste with food, yet this restaurant Modern Toilet makes this concept fun.
Modern Toilet draws on people ages 15 to 35, especially students from the three universities that’s nearby…
According to the little research elves [Ling-Ling and Fengshan] of the fairie - It first opened “Modern Toilet” back in 2004 after being inspired by a Japanese cartoon featuring restroom images and the toilet themes run through the food and drinks menus…
