Bibingka and Puto Bumbong

Last New Year’s eve we was on the “A-list invite” held at Robert’s mansion [It was potluck] and I decided to bring puto bumbong and bibingka I figured out that no one’s bringing any dessert aside from America’s Top Monay good ol’ cake ng ina nya.

Pramis nag-ala Martha Stewart/Julia Childs ako heheheh… We was a little late dahil nag-kayod pa ako ng niyog at kung ano ano pa *echos*

Here’s the uncooked bibingka and puto bumbongbong topped with cheese [Velveeta] and salted egg this is before I baked em’

Here’s the mix for the puto bumbong…

Roll each of em’ them like this… *Dapat pare-parehog sukat! Laki at taba.* para walang tampuhan lols. Then you can put them in a saucepan with water o diba parang palitaw!

Here’s the cooked version *O diba, parang talagang Julia Child… Kakapasok pa lang sa oven - paglabas luto na? Hahahaha ibang klaseng powers no?*

I may be in love with pizza but I am not one of the four wise-cracking pizza-obsessed mutant ninja turtles who fight the forces of evil from their sewer hideout noh! [Hehehe...] *Nalabas ng tunay ang pagka-bata ko footah!*

As I could remember, I am already into cooking as young as 11 years old. O diba! [Pucha I had my first drink Chivas Regal when I was 5 kaya bwahaha. That is for reals patak-patak lang naman?] So yeah, I helped my motherfather in the kitchen at a very young age… Bayo-bayo ganun kayod-kayod (I hated it when we have Ube and Coconut noh! Masakit kaya sa kamay yon! Nakakangalay sa kili-kili riliiii.) Gisa-gisa *Sa sariling mantika? Lols!!!*

I remember I did my first pizza when I was 11 years old. My parents would buy a crust from the grocery and they would let me do my own pizza as in, I loved it!

Just simple…

Put tomato paste in the crust then all the toppings you could imagine! I liked mine with alot of fresh green peppers and onions and olives… Ohhh and cheese [Mozzarella!] *Melts in my mouth everrrrrr EVER!*

Buffalo wings ala Hooters!

Since it’s football season, wings are definitely a hit!!!

Earlier I decided to cook wings for my brunch, actually I was supposed to cook inalog (my bff thought me how to cook inalog.) but since it’s football season, so I decided to go for buffalo wings.

Deep-fry about 8 - 10 pieces of wings at a time, in 375 degree for about 10 minutes, turning once or twice. ( I prefer my oil to be extra virgin olive oil.)

Once frying is done. Drain the chicken on a wire cooling rack for a minute, then immediately toss fried chicken in buffalo sauce mixture and remove with a slotted spoon.

I prefer cholula hot sauce with butter for my buffalo sauce. [Melt butter in saucepan, once melted pour the hot sauce.]

I definitely know how to have fun!

FUN is…

After our Halloween party the Butsi Gang aka Notorious MSG heads to… Wherelse? Chinatown in Jade Harbour.

For a start, we ordered chicken corn soup.

What you are about to see is our PIGGING OUT MENU hehehe… I love to eat specially after drinking… Drunk or not drunk I would still eat, I am used to it, if I don’t eat after drinking I might have a hangover.

Late Night Snacking: To beat it or not to beat it?

Kind of hard to answer huh?

Last Saturday me and ChuvaChienes found ourselves in the middle of nowhere in Chinatown looking for some open Chinese joint (where we could pig out? hahaha - now that is so NOTorious MSG right there!) that are still open at that time (2AM!) Hehehe…

Restaurants in Chinatown are open until 4AM (I guess) most specially during weekends!

For most people this time of the night are already sleeping already or maybe just relaxing/chilling out in their their homes, just doing their thing. But with us - we are in Chinatown, doing our thing, trying to PIG OUT! And yes we not care weather to beat late night snacking or not to beat it… WE JUST EAT - WE ARE HUNGRY! [Red my lepssss!!!]

We are arguing weather we are eating at David’s Mai Lai Wa or the same old Jade Harbour [Both in 10th and Race streets.] You see, whenever we go out we always head to Jade Harbour (Am just tired of it! Food is good there - But, I just want something new!) But then according to ChuvaChienes apparently may ifis daw sa Mai Lai Wa! (aba malay ko!) Eh diba yon nga nagpapasarap? Ekkkkk - Bwahahaha… Seriously!

The infamous Jade Harbour, home of the Notorious MSG aka Butsi Gang! [May ganyan bang tambayan ang Gucci Gang? Wala! Kasi hindi nagkakain ang mga yon!]
